The electrode is hydrophobic to help reduce the potential flooding issue of a functioning fuel cell. We use Platinum/Carbon or Platinum/Ruthenium/Carbon catalyst loaded according to your requirements. Our backing layer consists of carbon paper or carbon cloth.
